ENDORSE Kick-off Meeting – Milan (Italy), 5th-6th May 2016

Thursday 5th and Friday 6<>th May 2016, the University of Milan has hosted the EDCTP-CSA-Ebola-337 ENDORSE Kick-off Meeting.

After a brief introduction by the Project Coordinator, Prof. Maria Rita Gismondo, Director of the Laboratory of Clinical Microbiology, Virology and Bioemergencies, the Project Team composed of Mr. Davide Mileto, Mr. Alessandro Mancon, Ms. Giovanna Fotia, Mr. Luca Vitali from the University of Milan, Dr. Giuliano Rizzardini, Dr. Romualdo Grande, Dr. Laura Carenzi, Dr. Maria Vittoria Cossu from ASST Fatebenefratelli Sacco, Mr. Paddy Reilly from Kimmage DSC, Dr. Emmanuel Ochola and Ms. Dominique Corti from St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor, the first work session was opened.

The University of Milan wishes to thank all the participants for their active and fruitful contributions to this important Kick-off Meeting that marked the official beginning of ENDORSE  “ENhancing individual and institutional infectious Disease Outbreaks ResponSe capacities of healthcare professionals to mitigate infectious Emergencies in the Northern Uganda region”.

The ENDORSE project is funded by the European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP), a public-public partnership between countries in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR) and it is implemented as part of the European Union Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020.
